Do you need a test to categorize your language knowledge? Or a certificate for your language proficiency for a particular study – one that is also recognized internationally? Register at the Sprachschule Aktiv Regensburg for the telc language test and receive an internationally recognized language certificate. We offer the proper telc-test prep courses – with a prep test, and analysis of the prep test – that way you will be perfectly prepared.

With us you can take tests at all levels, from A1 to C1, at the dates below. This can be done in Spanish, English, French, and many other languages, upon request. Should you be unable to make one of the examination dates, you might suggest a telc test date to us.

Important information:

If, during the last 6 months, you have participated in a German course, or a test prep course, at the Sprachschule Aktiv Regensburg – or any other of the Sprachschule Aktiv locations – you’ll pay only the price labeled as “intern”.

The fee for the test is due latest at the registration deadline for the respective level. The fee for the prep-course is due at the beginning of the course.

Should you, for health reasons, be unable to attend the telc test (please provide a physicians attestation) you will be charged only the registration fee of €80.-

FAQ:

How often and when does the exam prep-course take place?

The test prep-course always takes place 2 weeks PRIOR to the respective test. The first week of the course consists of 3 days of lessons, 90 min each, where important modules of the telc test are practiced, i.e. reading comprehension, hearing comprehension, and written expression. In the second week, there are 4 days of lessons and on the 3rd day – before the last day – the prep test will be conducted.

What does the test look like and how long does it take?

The exam consists out of a written and oral part. In the written part you have to solve tasks from the areas of written expression, hearing and reading comprehension. This test takes three and a half hours. There is a 20 min break between the written exam and the oral exam. The oral exam is conducted in a group of 2 or 3 participants.

This takes about 15 to 20 minutes. You have 20 minutes time before your oral exam to prepare.

What do i bring with me for the test?

You bring your passport, or other form of ID, in addition to a pencil, pencil sharpener and eraser.

Can i retake the test?

Yes, you can retake the test as often as you like.

I can’t make any of the above-listed test dates, what can I do?

Send us your preferred date. There are a minimum of 3 participants required for the test. If that number is reached, we can test you on your date of choice.

What is the minimum number of participants?

For the telc prep-course, a minimum number of 3 people is required. For the telc test, a minimum of 3 participants is also required.

How soon do I get my results?

You’ll receive your results generally within six weeks. If you wish, we’ll mail you your certificate.

What other costs are there?

The price for the course includes the course itself, as well as the exam. With the telc prep-course, there is only an additional €10 for costs of the learning and test materials. The correction of the prep-tests and their scoring by the teacher are free!
